Em and I have been babysitting her friend Katie's dog for the week. He is a golden retriever/corgi mix. Very fun and playful, but sometimes too much so when all the dogs get together.

We've also been doing a lot for the Volusia Asset Co - hard money lending - business. And it's really been paying off. Our responsibilities include going to meetings, passing out fliers, calling clients and potential clients and conducting pre-approval meetings. It's pretty fun because most of the people we have met with are a bit nutty in one way or another. The pay is great. We have helped with a few deals and made as much as $2900 in two hours. Last night Em got a call from a new client who wanted to go to auction. She talked to him for a bit, then called my mom to alert her to the deal and find out if the money was available. Today he bought the house and paid our rent for the next two months. All right!
